As a part of Lafayette’s continued effort to support and promote fair and ethical working conditions globally, the College has affiliated with the Worker Rights Consortium. Founded in 2000 by international labor rights experts, students, and leading universities, the WRC is an independent labor rights monitoring organization that works to investigation working conditions in factories around the globe to document and combat sweatshop conditions while also aiding universities with the enforcement of binding labor standards they have adopted to protect workers producing collegiate licensed products. Through CLC, the College’s licensing partner, all licensee agreements contain a code of conduct.
