Two-day workshop Oct. 30-31, 2015, “Nanotechnologies for Cultural Conservation: Current Trends and Practices,” presented at the museum by IDEAL Center for Innovation of Lafayette College in collaboration with the University of Florence’s Center for Colliod and Surface Science (Consorzio Interuniversitario per lo Sviluppo dei Sistemi a Grande Interfase-CSGI) with the support of the Samuel H. Kress Foundation.

Piero Baglioni, director of CSGI and chair of physical chemistry at the University of Florence, a pioneer of nano-based conservation technologies, will present a free public lecture at 6 p.m., Friday, Oct. 30 at the Allentown Art Museum of the Lehigh Valley.
